1950

Professor Smith’s cream is renamed Sudocrem.

1960

Professor Smith used to research the local newspaper for new births. After discovering where the mothers lived, he would deliver Sudocrem samples personally.

1977

Sudocrem is launched in the UK.

1980

Sudocrem joins forces with Bounty, with the ambition of sampling its antiseptic healing cream in every hospital in the UK.

1980s

Sudocrem was launched nationally in Great Britain and over the next 20 years quickly established itself as the market leader for Diaper Rash cream in the UK and Ireland.

2007

30 years old in the UK, Sudocrem becomes the UK’s No. 1 Diaper Rash treatment.

2011

The Sudocrem brand celebrates its 80th birthday.

2018

Launch of My Little Sudocrem in the UK.
